Join us Wednesday evening, April 15th to Celebrate Section 11's Transportation Professional of the Year for 2026, Mengis Debessay. Mengis embodies the TPOY character with his professionalism, being a steadfast supporter and volunteer for NYSATE, and active within his community. Join us to celebrate and honor his achievements at work, within NYSATE and in his community.
Cocktail hour (cash bar) will be from 5:30-6:30 with dinner served promptly at 6:30. Shortly after, we'll conduct our annual meeting business and then Harry White will return to honor Mengis (as he's done with previous TPOYs in year's past).
Ticket price includes a dinner buffet with salads, roast beef, chicken parmigiana, salmon and vegetable lasagna, vegetables, mashed potatoes; coffee and tea; and strawberry shortcake for dessert.
The restaurant needs a head count by April 2nd, so the courtesy of a reply is appreciated before then.
