  Join NYSATE Section 11 in a friendly competition during March Madness by completing an ESPN Friends and Family Bracket through the link below for a chance to win up to $400* toward your Conference 84 Registration and expenses. 

  Rules: 

  You must be a Section 11 NYSATE member (payroll or on-line dues paying members, life members/retirees). 

  You must RSVP to this event. 

  You must complete a bracket using the link in this sentence.  

  You must complete your bracket AND RSVP prior to midnight March 18th (before the first games at Noon on the 19th). 

  You must register or an attend Conference 84 (June 3-5th, 2026 in Rochester, NY). Eligible expenses for reimbursement up to $400 include: Conference Registration, Icebreaker event (Tuesday night), Dinner/Drinks event (Wednesday night) and/or TPOY Dinner (Thursday night). If your expenses exceed $400, you will only be reimbursed $400. If your expenses are less than $400, you will receive reimbursement for the actual amount expended.

  Join us Wednesday evening, April 15th to Celebrate Section 11's Transportation Professional of the Year for 2026, Mengis Debessay. Mengis embodies the TPOY character with his professionalism, being a steadfast supporter and volunteer for NYSATE, and active within his community. Join us to celebrate and honor his achievements at work, within NYSATE and in his community. 

  Cocktail hour (cash bar) will be from 5:30-6:30 with dinner served promptly at 6:30. Shortly after, we'll conduct our annual meeting business and then Harry White will return to honor Mengis (as he's done with previous TPOYs in year's past). 

  Ticket price includes a dinner buffet with salads, roast beef, chicken parmigiana, salmon and vegetable lasagna, vegetables, mashed potatoes; coffee and tea; and strawberry shortcake for dessert. 

  The restaurant needs a head count by April 2nd, so the courtesy of a reply is appreciated before then.

  Join us for the 2026 Day of Golf!

  NYSATE Section 8’s DAY-OF-GOLF is the sole fundraiser for our “Adopt-an-Undergrad” Scholarship Program. The “Adopt-an-Undergrad” scholarship program was created to encourage and support the future of Civil Engineering in New York State. Each year, two promising young engineering students are awarded a two year, two-thousand-dollar scholarship to support them during their junior and senior years. 

  Golf will include 18 holes of golf with cart, box lunch/buffet dinner, registration gift, on-course beverages, and lots & lots of prizes!

  11:00 AM - Registration

  12:00 PM - Shotgun Start

  The fee to participate is $140 per golfer (NYSATE Members) and $150 per golfer (Non-NYSATE Members).

  The Day of Golf is limited to 120 Golfers.
